Services

  • Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

An Initial Evaluation is a 60 minute visit where we will get to know you and your goals for treatment. We will discuss how you are feeling and current stressors. We will collaborate on an integrative treatment plan that may include medication management, which can also include wellness and mind-body treatment approaches.

  • Follow up Visits

Follow up visits are planned after the initial evaluation. Follow up visits can occur every 2 weeks or monthly depending on circumstances and we can discuss which timeline works best together. Follow up visits are booked for 30 minute, or 20 minute sessions depending on individual needs. 30 minute sessions typically involve more counseling and integrative approaches. 20 min sessions are more focused on medication management.

  • ADHD Testing

Struggling with focus, organization, or attention? We are excited to announce that Mindful now offers comprehensive ADHD testing. Our process is designed to give you accurate, thorough results while fitting into your schedule.

    The assessment includes two parts:

Diagnostic Interview (60–90 minutes): An in-depth conversation to understand your history, symptoms, and concerns.

Computer-Based Test (30–45 minutes): This can be completed in our office or at home, provided you have a quiet, distraction-free space and a computer with a camera.

Together, these two steps allow us to accurately interpret your results. Based on the findings, we will provide a personalized treatment plan—which may include ADHD medication when appropriate.

At Mindful, our goal is to help you gain clarity, support, and effective tools to manage ADHD and thrive. The cost of this service is a self-pay fee of $599..

  • Genetic Testing : GeneSight

Mindful’s Comprehensive Labs for Genetic Biomarkers provide a holistic view, by unlocking the secrets encoded in your DNA. We partner with GeneSight which utilizes a pharmacogenomic test that helps guide mental health medication decisions based on a person’s unique genetic profile. GeneSight analyzes variations in specific genes that influence how an individual metabolizes and responds to psychiatric medications. This information helps tailor medication choices to increase effectiveness and reduce side effects.

With a focus on precision and confidentiality, Mindful ensures that you receive accurate and reliable genetic insights, empowering you to take proactive steps towards a healthier future.

    Floatation Therapy

Floating allows for the physical, psychological, and spiritual experience of quieting down, to relax your body and still the chatter in your mind. Floating, also called floatation therapy, is a sensory deprivation practice that involves an enclosed room or pod filled with a foot of water and over 1,000 pounds of Epsom salt. This healing practice helps to destress, relieve pain and bring clarity to your life.

    Cold Plunge / Sauna:

Our Contrast Therapy is blend of sauna, ice bath, and breath work designed for full body revitalization— utilizing the benefits of heat in the sauna, combined with the invigorating process of an ice bath and the composure of intentional breathing.

Your veins go from constriction in the cold, to dilation in the heat — getting your body pumping new blood to all areas, and flushing out metabolic waste in the process.

Not only does exposure to the extreme heat and extreme cold produce an extended cardiovascular workout, but under the duress your body reduces lactic acid buildup in muscles, while releasing a variety of growth hormones and proteins.

To best manage the intensity of this exchange, for your first visit, we will walk you through a down-regulating breathing process — intentionally shifting your nervous system from fight or flight mode (sympathetic) to a relaxed and energy saving state (parasympathetic). This technique is encouraged to be used in the processes of both Fire and Ice, as it positively regulates your body’s physical, physiological, psychological responses to the high heat and low cold.

  • Nutraceuticals

At Mindful Psychiatry and Wellness, we believe in a multifaceted, holistic approach to mental health care. Healing is not one-dimensional, and treatment should support the whole person — mind and body.

In addition to traditional psychiatric care, we thoughtfully incorporate nutraceuticals when appropriate to enhance each individual’s overall wellness journey. This may include options such as magnesium to support sleep and relaxation, or Silexan (Lavela) to help reduce symptoms of anxiety, among others. Each recommendation is personalized based on your unique needs and health goals.

If you’re interested in learning how nutraceuticals may support your mental and physical health journey, we invite you to inquire and explore whether this integrative approach is right for you.
